Quietly looking at the faraway star tonight
Deep inside there’s a stormy sky, I won’t cry
Take my hand, deep inside there’s a stormy sky
And I keep asking, what’s on the other side
Take my hand, deep inside there’s a stormy sky
And I wonder, what’s on the other side
Am I supposed to be great,
To satisfy everyone with each of my breath
It haunts me like a ghost in the night
It haunts me like I’m stuffed in the throat
On a fine line, a frail string
An escape of herds of masked men
Ropewalker, fear no more!
I have to take this chance, it’s now or never!
Gravity keeps me hanging on a thread of survival
Tied connections
Carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders
The burden of lies pulls me down like an anchor
Hold me hold my hand, won’t you let me fall
I’ll be on your side, I won’t let you down
And that’s when I need to breathe
Believing you will catch me
When I’m about to fall
Right here in the sky up high
I see the glory light
Swallows all of me
All I need is hanging by my side
Won’t you see the wonders with me
Between life and death
A balance so long forgotten
Pushed to the edge
A balance so long forgotten
Between life and death
A promise many times broken
Tangled, broken, I will endure
With the weight of the world
I will endure.
Not a fan of the new album but this Polaris album is just what I love about metalcore. Saw them live in CH last year and on stage they are amazing. If you're new to Polaris (doubt it) start here ! sachavonkarl74

I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
